Quilling, or paper filligree, is a very old craft. It is an easy, inexpensive & enjoyable craft, suitable for all ages. It is an ideal way to decorate greeting & gift tags. There are two basic shapes - COILS & SCROLLS. Both are explained in this Kit. You are also shown how to create fringed flowers, (lilac card). Once you have made these designs described in the Beginners Kit you will realise how enjoyable and easy quilling is. You will then be limited only by your imagination.
Originally paper was rolled around a feather quill, hence the name 'quilling'.
